Overview
Unlike standard fire magic that is available to most races, Living Fire has its own life force. Living Fire in many ways can be considered a Ability:Summoning spell. At the weakest level the spell summons forth the soul of a simple Daemon who's soul purpose is to attack anything it's master wishes. Simple Banishing techniques usually are employed to deal with Living Fire at these levels. At the highest level the caster may summon forth a more powerful Daemon, but doing so usually costs the caster their life and risks letting the Daemon escape. At this level casters must focus on defeating the caster since Banishing will be ineffective against Daemons of this level. These summoned Daemons do not take on a physical form and only appear to be made of fire. Even at the highest level of casting, these summoned Daemons are only low level and nameless.
Notable Events
When being taught to cast a basic Fire spell by Dragon Girl, the Protagonist ends up summoning forth Living Fire with the soul of Cerberus the guardian of the gates of hell. Unlike true Living Fire, Cerberus takes on her natural form. In order to save the Protagonists life Dragon Girl casts a Binding spell to link both of their life forces. This causes a scar to form on the Protagonists arm that causes pain when ever Cerberus gets angry.
Eventually it is discovered that the reason behind this event was due to Ancient Magic and the Ability:Spirit Bond that was partially formed between Dragon Girl and the Protagonist.
