Her brother helped her create the masks, but later betrayed her and attempted to kill her. She resents herself as much as she resents her brother for the fall of their people. After creating the mask Shi, she mortaly wounds her brother.
She had a warm happy childhood with her parents and thinks kindly of them. Her brother killed both of them, but she blames herself as much as him for their deaths.
