Story Weaving

During key points in the main story line it will become necessary to share information with the readers that may not be suited for the main arc. These events may be set in the past, present or future. Often times there will be no indicator to show which it is. It will be up to the reader to figure this out.

Splitting

Splits will usually be a half of a page on a comic with a shared introduction in the beginning. The split will usually be centered around the topic that is talked about before the split. If not then the introduction will be a binding point between the two stories. The two cels of the split will show either the same character or a related character in a similar situation. One side of the split will carry on with the main story line and the second part will spawn a new sub arc.

Merging

Once an arc splits it will usually merge back in at some point. When this merge happens there will be a half page like a Split but will feature a combined storyline after the merge. General rules for a Split will also apply for a Merge. A Merge will end a sub arc and draw the readers back in to the main story line.

Entwined Stories

The main difference is that a Entwined Story will not end the sub arc's story. A sub arc may Entwine with the main story or other sub arcs as events relate with each other.

First Split

The first split will happen fairly early on and tell the story of Princess Shi growing up and the events that have shaped her current outlook on life. The split will happen when she is talking about how eventually the war will come to an end and bring peace to all of the races. The first arc will then trail in to a little girl (Princess Shi overhearing her mother talking to some visitors about how she is glad that the fighting is finally over. The sub arc will continue on with a good part of her childhood. The sub arc will eventually merge back in to the main story when Princess Shi is created and she tells her traveling companions who she really is in the main arc.
